St Joseph’s Doora Barefield Senior Football Garry Cup 2018
The parish lads took on Kilmilhil on Sat evening in Gurteen where this game was a must win game. The lads dug deep and came away with a one point heroic win over Kilmilhil on a hot evening. It was a close first half going in at 2.03 to 7 points. Could be a head more but never let the heads down. We had two pen which were nailed by Cathal Duggan. Some good points kept the pressure on. The Second half got of very quick where Kilmilhil hit the net with in a min and from their there was two points give and take between them. But the parish lads dug deep and took on Kilmilhil and went in for every dirty ball. The last ten mins was the wining of the game where the lads hit the net the third time. The lads take on Ennistymon in the Garry Cup Football Semi Final TBC must a waited game.
