“Your attitude is more important than your ability, your motives are more important than your methods, your courage is more than your cleverness and always have your heart in the right place” – Dermot Earley Snr
Named after one of Ireland’s and Connacht’s most influential leaders and sporting legends, Dermot Earley. The DEYLI empowers young people aged 15 – 18 especially those in Transition Year — to become confident, compassionate leaders.
Launched in St. Joseph’s Doora Barefield GAA club in 2024 as part of our Healthy Club programme, this initiative helps participants develop key leadership skills and encourages them to use these skills to make a positive impact in their communities.
💡 What’s included?
