St. Joseph’s Intermediate’s remain pointless

Round 5 of the Intermediate Clare Cup Division 1B took place last Monday May 2nd in Gurteen.

At the end of this encounter both teams finished with 14 players. Aaron Landy picked up 2 yellow cards and was sent off the field of play inthe first 10 minutes.

Jack Cunningham from Wolfe Tones was sent off with a second yellow four minutes from the end.

The half time score was 0-11 to 0-6. It showed that St. Joseph’s were missing some of their key players in the form of Ivor Whyte, Jarlath Colleran and Brian Guilfoyle.

Nine out of the total twelve point tally went to the ever reliable David Conroy.

The final scoreline was Wolfe Tones 1-19, St. Joseph’s 0-12
