St Josephs Doora Barefield U21 Football Championship R1
The Doora lads opened their first round of the U21 football championship against Kilrush in Gurteen. It was a nice evening for a game of football. A must win game to keep their dreams alive to make the last eight came to fruit. The first had alot of wides but the doora lads kept their shape and kicked into gear with a will taken goal from Conor Kearns in the 5 min. kilrush had goal chances but some great saves from Niall Duggan kept them out. Tom and Jack Hannan played their boots out and with Eoin Hanrahan in the center of the field winning important ball and supply for the forwards.
