Round Two Intermediate Championship
The Mills pitch was the venue for the encounter of St. Joseph’s and Kilkishen/Bodyke in this second round of Intermediate Championship.
Following on from a comprehensive win over Clarecastle/Ballyea the previous week, St. Joseph’s were determined to keep up the winning streak but at half time found themselves trailing 1-4 to 1-1 with the goal coming from corner forward Ciara Duggan and a point from a free from Aisling McMahon.
The second half saw only three scores for St. Joseph’s, another goal from Duggan as well as a point from play from Sarah Hoey and Vanessa Meaney, in comparison to Kilkishen/Bodyke’s 6 points which left the final score 1-10 to Joseph’s 2-3.
